Mit „Steal My Name“ veröffentlicht die Münchner Sängerin und Songwriterin LORiiA nach fast zwei Jahren eine neue Single. Der Song zeigt erneut LORiiAs Händchen für einen fragilen und nachdenklichen Pop Noir, der von ihrer warmen Stimme getragen und durch die minimalistische Produktion der Berlinerin NOVAA, die zuletzt mit dem Female Producer Preis ausgezeichnet wurde, begleitet wird.

„Steal My Name“ entstand aus einer Auseinandersetzung mit einer Vertrauensperson heraus, die über einen langen Zeitraum hinweg LORiiAs Autonomie absprach, eigene Entscheidungen zu treffen.
Begleitet von einem einfühlsamen Cello findet die Sängerin im Lauf des Songs zu ihrer Stärke zurück, wobei sich der Song parallel immer weiter aufbaut und nach hinten hin instrumental öffnet. Eben genau so wie LORiiA ihr Selbstbewusstsein zurückgewinnt und lernt zu sich zu stehen.

LORiiAs Musik durchzieht eine Emotionalität und Nähe, mit der sie einen authentischen Blick in ihre Gefühlswelt gewähren lässt. Die Sängerin zeigt sich verletzlich und empowert gleichzeitig. Eine Botschaft, die ihr in den letzten Jahren wichtig geworden ist.
